A Bronx mom was stabbed to death early Saturday by her deranged live-in boyfriend — who was tased by responding officers when he tried to escape out a bedroom window, police said.
Sheila Williams, 60, was inside her Sedgwick Avenue apartment in Morris Heights just before 2 a.m. when her 67-year-old boyfriend began “acting irrationally” and cut her 39-year-old daughter on the left forearm, the sources said.
The daughter, who lives in the same building but in a different apartment, ran out and called 911, according to the sources.
When police got into the apartment, they found the man standing over Williams’ bloody body, the sources said.
The attacker tried to escape out the window, but cops deployed a Taser which stopped him in his tracks, the sources said.
Williams, who had stab wounds to her neck and legs, was pronounced dead on scene, and her daughter refused medical attention. A weapon has not been recovered yet.
The victim’s boyfriend was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital as a result of the Tasing, and for a psychiatric evaluation, the sources said.
Charges are pending against the alleged attacker, and he has not been named early Saturday morning.
