Police investigate after someone was threatened with a box cutter to their throat Saturday.

Around 10 p.m., Paris police officers were called to the 2200 block of W. Kaufman Street for reports of an assault which was said to have happened in the 1700 block of Fairfax Street.

Paris Police Lt. John Berry said officers were told someone had held a box cutter to the complainant’s throat during an altercation.

No arrests have been made, but the investigation is ongoing.
