Around 2 p.m. on Friday, Paris police officers made contact with 27-year-old Samantha Allen in the 3500 block of N.E. Loop 286, where she was found to have outstanding warrants.
Paris Police Lt. John Berry said Allen was placed under arrested for two misdemeanor warrants out of the Paris Municipal Court, and an outstanding felony warrant for fugitive from justice/ possession of a controlled substance out of Oklahoma.
“Allen was found to be in possession of about 17 grams of methamphetamine,” Berry said, “and was also charged with manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance.”
Around 5 p.m. the next day, officers made contact with 26-year-old Evan Cobb in the same vicinity for a traffic violation.
“Officers observed Cobb throw something which was later found to be a baggy containing 26 Alprazolam pills,” Berry said. “Cobb was placed under arrest for manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.”
Around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, officers were called to the 2900 block of Clarksville Street for reports of a disturbance.
“It was reported that John Hagger, 22, had assaulted the complainant by choking and scratching the complainant,” Berry said. “Hagger was placed under arrest for assault of a family or household member by impeding breath.”
