A suspicious vehicle call lands one man in jail for possession of drugs, gun.

Around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Paris police officers were investigating a suspicious vehicle when they found 17-year-old Ricky Sneddon in the 1000 block of 3rd Street N.W.

“Sneddon was found to be in possession of small amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana,” said Paris Police Lt. John Berry. “Sneddon was also found to be in possession of a handgun.”

Sneddon was arrested for two charges of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful carrying of a weapon and possession of marijuana. He was taken to Paris Municipal Jail where he awaits transfer to Lamar County Jail for bond setting.
