Shortly before 11 p.m. on Thursday, Paris police officers made a traffic stop in the 500 block of 20th Street S.E. and, as a result, made contact with Deborah Jackson, 59, Donald Jumper, 59, and Benjamin Georgieff, 27.

“Officers found amitriptyline, acetaminophen and codeine in prescription bottles with no labels in the front seat area of the vehicle where Jackson and Jumper had been seated,” said Paris Police Lt. John Berry. “Jackson was also found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine as well as amphetamine tablets and dextroamphetamine tablets.”

Berry said Jackson was placed under arrest for manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and three misdemeanor charges. Jumper was placed under arrest for manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge. Georgieff was found to have an outstanding warrant for criminal nonsupport and was placed under arrest for the warrant.
