Two arrested for drugs after routine traffic stop

Two people have been arrested after officers found them to be in possession of multiple drugs during a traffic stop.

The traffic stop occurred May 8 at 6:51 a.m. in the 2700 block of Hubbard Street, where officers made contact with Victor and Maranda McCulloch. 

“The two were found to be in possession of synthetic marijuana (two baggies), marijuana, and a single Acetaminophen/Hydrocodone pill,” said Lieutenant John Berry of the Paris Police Department. 

Victor was also found to have outstanding warrants out of Red River County for Possession of a controlled substance, Evading arrest detention with a vehicle and two misdemeanor charges.

Victor was placed under arrest and charged with the warrants, manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance and another misdemeanor charge. Maranda was also placed under arrest and was charged with manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and two misdemeanor charges.
