Two men, pit bull stabbed after dog poops in front yard

Two men and a pit bull were stabbed in a weekend brawl that erupted after someone let the dog poop in front of a man’s Connecticut home, police said.

Officers in Bridgeport were called to the Park Avenue home about 8:30 a.m. Saturday and found victims Christian Rodriguez, Ryan Bray and the dog with minor stab wounds, police told The Post.

The men and the animal were stabbed by suspect Kirk Brown after Rodriguez let his pit bull go to the bathroom in front of Brown’s home, police said. Brown also allegedly stabbed Bray with a small pocket knife during the ensuing altercation.

Brown was later charged with two counts of second-degree assault, cruelty to animals and breach of peace. Brown, whose bond was set at $100,000, was expected to make his initial court appearance on Monday, police said.

Rodriguez and Bray were both charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace. They were issued summonses and are expected to return to court April 20. It was unclear if any of the men had hired attorneys.

Rodriguez was treated for puncture wounds at a hospital, police said. His injuries, as well as those to Bray and the dog, were not considered to be serious, News 12 Connecticut reports.

When asked by investigators, police said Brown denied stabbing anyone, claiming he used a stick to defend himself during an attack by Rodriguez and Bray.
