A Brooklyn woman bravely fought off a man who tried to rape her inside her apartment, cops said.
The perv knocked on the 37-year-old victim’s apartment door at Meeker Avenue and Kingsland Avenue in Greenpoint around 3:30 p.m. and asked for “Jeffrey,” police said.
When the woman opened the door, the man barged in, pushed the woman into her bedroom and threatened her with a knife as he demanded she perform a sex act on him, cops said.
But the woman refused to be his victim — she punched the creep in his groin and then ran, making it to her doorway before he tackled her and tried to remove her dress, cops said.
She screamed, which was enough to finally send the man running, cops said.
The woman was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where she was treated for a cut to the back of her head.
Cops describe the suspect as a man in his 20s, about 6 feet 2, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black short-sleeve shirt, beige pants and black shoes.
